The use of electrotermoadhesion (ETA) during surgery in patients with cancer of the larynx leads to more rapid recovery of functional activity of innate immunity factors, promotes normalization of humoral defense (IgA) and cytokines values. There was developed and proved method of surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer by use of electrotermoadhesion, which was awarded the State Prize in Science and Technology of Ukraine. The technique is less traumatic for tissues than the conventional technique, and promotes more rapid and complete recovery of certain values of immune reactivity and rehabilitation of cancer patients in the immediate postoperative period. The technique allows achieving significantly reduced operating blood loss, reduced surgery time and anesthetic provision as well as preserved voice function in patients with cancer of the larynx, stage I-II.
