Those risk factors are predictive of obstetric complications in pregnant women with threatened preterm labor against the background of impaired hemostasis. There has been ascertained the role of hemostatic disturbances in premature birth based on a comprehensive assessment of hemostasis, laboratory criteria, hyperhomocysteinemia, antiphospholipid syndrome and genetic polymorphisms of trombofilia.It is the first time that the role of different forms of thrombophilia in the pathogenesis of preterm delivery has been defined at different stages of gestation. A new clinical approach to the origin, development and clinical manifestations of the threat of premature birth against the background of hemostasis disorders as well as the set of developed and implemented preventive and therapeutic measures contributed to reduced proportion of complications of pregnancy, perinatal morbidity and mortality.
