The positive outcomes included no local recurrence, postoperative complications or mortality. The three-year survival was 94.6%. The analysis of the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (taxanes regimes, hemzar, vinorelbin) in patients with non-small cells lung cancer stage III was performed. The 3-year survival rate increased by 8% compared with the controls. Owing to the obtained results patients with rectal cancer surgery underwent organ-preserving treatment instead of disabling surgery. The patients who previously required the entire rectum to be removed had the part of the sphincteric apparatus saved.
