The possibility of using of a system of Autonomous reactivity control (ARC) in the perspective fast reactor with a wave of nuclear burning (NBW) in the case of unexpected growth of temperature in the active zone (ULOHS failure) was considered. The analysis of transient processes which arise in the NBW reactor with ARC system was conducted and it was shown that a superposition of mechanisms of reactivity negative feedback, which are connected to NBW regime and ARC system, ensures automatic control of the reactor operation in the case of ULOHS failure. 2. The evolution of precipitations in irradiated alloys was considered accounting for the loss of coherence and the dependence of the interface energy on the size of precipitations. The temperature range was found, in which the quasistationary distributions of semicoherent precipitations can be formed after a long-term irradiation. 3. The heterogeneous nucleation of bubbles in the metal coolant on flat surfaces of the reactor vessel walls and construction elements was studied based on the modified Gibbs approach, and the comparison with the classical nucleation theory was carried out.
