The purpose of the study is to develop a model of forensic psychiatric expert assessment of the ability of persons with alcohol abuse to realizing the significance of their actions and (or) managing them when committing the deals. Methods of research were clinical and anamnestic, clinical psychopathological, socio-demographic, psycho-diagnostic, expert forensic -psychiatric analysis, statistical. Object of research: mental, behavioral disorders and psychological peculiarities of persons with alcohol dependence. Subject of research: features of origin, formation, clinical structure of mental and behavioral disorders in people with dependence on alcohol and their influence on the ability of the latter to fully understand the significance of their actions and (or) manage them. The results obtained and their novelty. This research work is a new trend towards forensic psychiatry in the civil process associated with an expert assessment of mental and behavioral disorders that have arisen in people with alcohol-dependent syndrome. For the first time, approaches to forensic psychiatric assessment of conditions of intoxication and psychiatric disorders in persons with alcohol-dependent syndrome have been developed, taking into account legislative changes. The algorithm of expert research for persons with alcohol dependence is developed. Identified groups of factors that are mandatory subjects of expertise.
