The purpose of the study is to develop scientific methodological approaches, suggestions and recommendations for managing the development of urban agglomerations. Methods of research are general scientific and special methods: dialectical, logical generalization and systematization, comparative, structural, economic, financial, statistical analysis and synthesis, methods of economic-mathematical modeling and forecasting, as well as methods of extrapolation, principles of synergetics. Taking into account the interdisciplinary approach to the research, systematic and integrated approaches are applied. Scientific and methodological provisions, proposals and recommendations for management of the development of urban agglomerations have been developed. Analytical notes, memorandum, proposals for amending the acts of the current legislation of Ukraine (total 19), 3 collective monographs, 36 articles, 38 theses of reports in the collections of materials of international and Ukrainian scientific conferences were prepared.
