The report is executed in accordance with the terms of reference for the component part of the research work. The object of the study is the organization of psychological assistance to servicemen. Subject of research. The forces, means, techniques and techniques of psychological assistance which can be used in the military unit. Research methods. A set of methods for theoretical and empirical research was used to solve specific tasks of the research work. Theoretical: method of analysis, studying and generalization of the provisions of scientific sources on the problems of the theory and practice of the use of troops, the method of system analysis and the definition of structural elements of the organization of psychological training in military units (units). Empirical: A research of the mental state of servicemen before, during and after the battle. The purpose of the study is to develop theoretical and methodological principles for organizing psychological assistance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account NATO standards; development of a model of psychological assistance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine; substantiation of recommendations to the contents of the guidance documents on the organization and provision of psychological assistance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In accordance with the set goal, the following tasks of the component part of the research work are solved: Collection and synthesis of materials related to the research. The conditions and factors influencing the combat activity of the personnel and the necessity of provision of psychological help are analyzed. Principles, forms, methods, means and technologies of provision of psychological help at the tactical level are defined. A structural-functional model of providing psychological assistance in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was proposed. At the first stage of the task, the collection, study, analysis, generalization of domestic and foreign experience in the organization of psychological assistance in the armed forces units was carried out. At the II stage of the task, conditions and factors that affect the combat activity of the personnel and determine the need for psychological assistance are defined; the principles, forms, methods, means and technologies of provision of psychological help at the tactical level are defined; a structural-functional model of providing psychological assistance in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was proposed. Recommendations on improving the effectiveness of organization of psychological training in parts (divisions) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its implementation before, during and after the battle are given.
