Aim of work : Development of methods of constructing of phase composition and structure of composition radioprotective materials on the basis of carbide borum and refractory connections of transitional metals. Research methods: standard methodologies of theoretical thermodynamics calculations; standards were prepared by the method of reactionary hot-pressed on setting with the capacitance-resistance heating without a protective atmosphere, the diffractograms of compact standards got by means of the copper filtered radiation on the automated x-rayed diffractometer of ДРОН- 3.Mechanical descriptions were determined with the help of ПМТ- 3. The thermodynamics analysis of physical and chemical transformations that take place in the systems of B4C is conducted - Hf and B4C - Al - B and Hf - B - Si - C. Influence of phase composition of reagents and phase composition of products of reaction is analysed on the thermodynamics parameters of processes of synthesis and optimal compositions of reagents offer for the receipt of ceramic composition materials of the systems of B4C HfB2, B4C - AlB2, B4C - Al3O3N, HfB2 - HfC - Hf, HfB2 - SiC. Possibility of creation of ceramic composition materials of composition of В4С is investigational - HfВ2 by reactionary hot-pressed of charge of В4С, HfС and В.Phase composition, structure and mechanical properties of the got composites, is studied in a wide concentration interval (В4С + (3,9 - 34,7 at. %) HfB2). The microhardness of the got materials changes in an interval 25 - 37 ГПа, and crack resistance has extreme dependence on content of the second phase and arrives at 6,5 МПа·of м1/2, that almost twice exceeds a corresponding value for the carbide borum. The worked out laboratory methodology of speed synthesis of ceramic composition materials is on the basis of carbide borum. Content of carbide of silicon in the synthesized materials arrives at 50 at. %.It was established that the process of consolidation of a material is determined mainly by physics-chemical transformations occurring during hot pressing between components of a charge. The influence of the reaction mixture content on the behavior of materials during sintering, the development of microstructure and mechanical properties have been investigated.
