Objective: the synthesis and study of regularities structure - photophysical and electrochemical properties for a series of carbazole cooligomers and poly- and oligoparafenilen-vinylene conjugated systems that are promising for application in molecular and optoelectronics. Methods: cyclic voltammetry, absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopy, IR and NMR spectroscopy. The scientific value of work done consists in that based on the analysis of regularities the structure - chemical and photophysical properties for series of new oligomeric halogen and ferrocene conjugate based on carbazole systems identified structural factors that contribute to the growth of photoconductivity and the holographic sensitivity of the film polymeric composites based on them. The practical significance of the conducted study - newly synthesized ferrocene- and bromine-containing carbazole cooligomers and polymeric paraphenylene-vinylene conjugated systems can be used in molecular electronics to build electronic devices - light-emitting diodes, solar cells, organic lasers and color converters.
