Significant changes in the governance of sustainable development, due both to global trends and processes that occur within countries, require new approaches to the formation of international and national mechanisms, taking into account the peculiarities of the transformation of the global system for sustainable development governance. Achieving sustainable development is a complex task, for which is necessary to meet urgent needs, that entails a huge funding requirements. Therefore, the problem of generating global and national mechanisms for the management of sustainable development requires research funding programs and projects aimed at achieving the goals in this area. The object of study are the processes of formation of global and national governance mechanisms to sustainable development. The subject of research is the patterns of formation of global and national governance mechanisms to sustainable development. The aim of this work is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of global and national governance mechanisms to sustainable development that addresses urgent scientific problem of increase of efficiency of process of sustainable development. Methodological base of research was elected the dialectical method of scientific cognition, methods of theoretical generalizations, scientific induction and deduction, synthesis, abstraction, modeling, methods of systemic, structural, historical, comparative, statistical and mathematical analysis, graphical method, sociological method. The idea of the study is to develop a global and national mechanisms for the management of sustainable development, can significantly improve the efficiency of financing for sustainable development. The results of the study will allow to substantiate the theoretical and methodological bases of formation of global and national governance mechanisms to sustainable development.
