The purpose of study: determination of the regularities of theoretical and experimental processes that occur during processing of titanium- and molybdenum-containing raw materials and elaboration of the recommendations for their intensification to improve the technologies of oxide pigments and catalysts. The methods of study: kinetic studies, thermodynamic calculations, potentiometric and photometric measurements, X-ray phase analysis, mathematical modeling, quantum-chemical calculations. The revealed dependence of the sulfation process of the modified ilmenite malyshevskogo fields through theoretical calculations of thermodynamic parameters of extraction of titanium from its inorganic compounds and conducted the corresponding experimental verification. Found between the observed rate constant of the chemical dissolution of ilmenite and altered concentrations of sulphuric acid solutions there is a linear dependence up to a concentration of 85%. It is concluded that as a reagent in solutions of sulphate acid should be considered hydrates H2SO4•nH2O as degidrirovaniya molecules of sulfuric acid involved in the leaching process does not accept. For the first time proven to be the best reagent for the leaching of molybdenum from spent iron-molybdenum catalyst is considered as a concentrated solution of ammonia. Based on thermodynamic and kinetic analysis of the processes of veselchane it is shown that the ammonia method for complex processing of spent iron-molybdenum catalyst provides for extraction of molybdenum at the level of 90-95%. Applications: C 20.59 Manufacture of other chemical products, n. a. a. g., M 72.19 - research and development in other natural sciences and engineering.
