Purpose is development of lithium anode with modified surface by LiAl-alloy and making the samples of lithium reserve battery with designed electrodes. Methods of research are electrochemical studies in galvanostatic mode and impedance spectroscopy. The laboratory technology for manufacturing lithium anode with modified surface by lithium-aluminum alloy is developed. Experimental data of lithium anode efficient operation in a wide range of current density, temperature and shelf life are obtained. The experimental models of lithium back-up power sources, with a diameter of 6.3 mm, length 55 mm, which are efficient at minus 25 ° C (W = 210 Wh / kg), the methods of making and methods of rapid tests of simulating their long-term storage are developed. The value of weight energy density of developed elements at +25 ± 2 ° C, depending on the conditions of discharge is between 250 to 317 Wh / kg are developed. Novelty of developed power source lies in the features of case structure, which provides an unique energetic and operating characteristics due of limiting the volume change of the electrode structure during discharge, the method of anode surface modification by LiAl-alloy, which allow to reduce the impedance of electrochemical system Li-FeS2 during long-term storage at the elevated temperatures in 10 times, the opportunities of element activation after the first discharge by the charge, which can increase the specific energy on about 30% due to higher average voltage in the next discharge.
