Aim - establishment of the common regularities of influence of structure and the nature metal - oxide-coated catalysts on intensity of process of deep electrochemical oxidation of organic matters of an aromatic structure - water pollutants. Research methods - fluorescent spectroscopy, spectophotometery, high performance solution chromatography, a x-ray microanalysis. It is established that oxidation rate of p-nitrophenol and p-nitroaniline is proportional to the number of oxygen-containing radicals who are formed at water oxidation. This parameter, namely the number of oxygen-containing radicals, it is offered to use as a correlative factor at prediction of electrocatalytic properties metal - oxide-coated catalysts after the relation to the selection destruction of organic compounds of an aromatic structure. It was shown that ionic additives influence extent of hydroxylation of the surface layer of dioxide of lead and anchoring strength of oxygen-containing parts (O1s peak on RFU). It is led in turn to change of quantity by the zgenerirovannykh of oxygen-containing radicals at an electrolysis. The maximal hydration of a surface is observed for the oxides modified by Bi3 + and Sn4+.
