The aim – to establish the basic kinetic regularities of steel corrosion process in different types of deep eutectic solvents. Research methods – voltammetry, potentiometry, gravimetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, optical microscopy, viscometer pycnometric method. The complex data by the physicochemical properties of the new ionic liquids based on choline chloride, ethylene glycol and urea was received, it was shown the dependence on the temperature of parameters such as density, conductivity and viscosity of the solution. It was shown that structural steels in solutions of ionic liquids prone to pitting corrosion. On the basis of voltammetric and impedance measurements it was established that the mechanism and rate of steel corrosion depends on the nature of the ionic liquid and the duration of the corrosion process. Corrosion current density values were defineded and the effect of temperature and time on the regularities of corrosion processes was investigated.
