Research domain - increasing of intellectuality, efficiency and flexibility of ISEA systems in mechanical engineering on the basis of the knowledge data discovery and methods of knowledge engineering. Theoretical and practical results - the automated decomposition of scientific and technical publications texts (TPT) containing images on semantic elements; the applied ontology of processes and rules system for the intensive plastic deformations (IPD) defining admissible versions of technical solutions; classification of the TPT informative sections, image parameters, mathematical methods and algorithms of taking their estimates; techniques of finding contours and segmentation on the images of products and materials on the basis of textural and contour analysis methods, assessment methods of form and color tone of image segments; a technique of an image parameters choice (on the example of ceramic tiles defects) on the basis of their informativeness estimates at building of qualifiers. Algorithmic supply, logical and physical models of the specialized program complexes (PC) is developed for image processing, including for the solution of metallography problems and others. Prototypes of the PC which allow to carry out recognition of text part of TPT and its parse and frequency analyze are developed, and also to control and adjust processing. Novelty - mathematical and algorithmic supplies, and also the PC set, consistently solving problems of TPT processing (from processing of documents with the images, recognitions of the text and images, to parse of texts, term extraction, formation of triplets in the RDF language) with possibility of a further automatic text summarization, classification and searching of documents on the basis of subject domain ontology, are developed. The options of technical solutions for new processes of IPD developed on the basis of ontological approach are obtained. Integration efficiency - improvement of a building technique of ISEA systems on the basis of the knowledge data discovery and methods of knowledge engineering which will allow to support of technical solutions on the basis of the drawn knowledge from data and thus to increase labor productivity of designers and technologists. Application area - processes of the analysis of subject domains of activity in organizational and technical systems, design of products, technological processes of their production and equipment, including in mechanical engineering. Improvement of ISEA is reached by development of ontology of subject domain and program systems on the basis of knowledge engineering methods, application of artificial intelligence methods and combined methods of TPT statistical processing.
