BC - IV cen. AD), found on the territory of Ukraine - from the boundary of forest and forest-steppe zone to the North to the Crimean mountains to the South. An extensive source material was introduced into science in the result of the conducted research. The interpretation of this material allows considerably broaden scientific notion about settlement and sepulchral sites, material culture, economy, and social order of the population of pre-Scythian and Scythian-Sarmatian period. In addition, the interpretation of the found material allowed to offer new reconstruction of some aspects of the history of the Early Iron age tribes. The research elaboration, resulted from the research work, outlines the directions for future explorations that will contribute to the the problem related to the historical development of pre-Scythian and Scythian-Sarmatian tribes on the territory of our country.
