The aim is to develop new composite materials and coatings on the basis of high corrosion and cavitation resistance to protect various parts shipbuilding industry and hydropower equipment, floating oil and gas platform from hydro-abrasive wear, as well as the aggressive action of water environments. Research methods - X-ray and microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy, the technique of elektrohimichnyht and cavitation tests. The regularities and the phase structure of composite materials based on intermetallic NiAl and NiTi with the addition of refractory compounds, and defined the optimum ratio of structural components for the development of materials NiAl (NiTi) -Ti (Cr, Zr) B2 with different content refractory phase (15- 45 wt.%) - to increase corrosion and cavitation resistance of various structures in aggressive aqueous environments, including seawater. Through the development of these materials and coatings based on them the opportunity to also increase the reliability and lifetime of the components shipbuilding technology and hydropower equipment in general.
