The impact of electronic structure of CFCs and nature of electrode (GC, Pt, Ag, Cu, carbon nanotubes) on the process characteristics and the final products composition has been established. For the first time the possibility was shown for obtaining important fluorinated propionic acids by electrochemical conversion of CFCs with carbon dioxide.
