On the basis of interdisciplinary synthesis of data of archaeology, paleogeography, paleoclimatology, geology and other natural sciences specific features of settlement system and migrations in the region are detected for the Upper Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic and Early Iron Age. Peculiarities of the source base, artifacts processing technique and technology of application of tools, weapons, household objects, ceramics, coins and ritual objects are reconstructed. Absolute and relative dates of archaeological sites, certain artifacts and their complexes are precised. Basic stages of evolution of economy of North-Western Black Sea region population are reconstructed for the early and later prehistory and for the ancient times. Connection of development of economy of the local population with the changed of climate and the shoreline migration is established. Spatial and chronological peculiarities of social and spiritual culture evolution in the North-Western Pontic region are detected for the Stone Age, paleometal epoch and for the early medieval times. Results received in the course of investigations in frames of this topic are applied in educational process.
