The influence of the economic crisis in Ukraine on the situation of the development and reproduction of intellectual capital of the construction complex of Ukraine were analysed. The construction complex has the ability to respond quickly to the negative trends in the economy of Ukraine, which as a consequence resulted in reduction of the number of employees, reduction of the construction sites, bankruptcy of enterprises - both small and large ones. An ambiguous situation in the country, the low level of the financial state support of the construction industry, decrease in employment were those negative factors that destroy the intellectual capital of the construction complex of Ukraine in the circumstances of declining demand for construction products. The effective implementation of investments in innovation in construction shall become a priority for the further development of the industry. The main source of growth of construction enterprises in the near future shall be in the scientific knowledge and its use because other resources are exhaustible. The intellectual capital is the basis of economic improving growth of the construction industry, and the most important factor in the competitiveness of the domestic construction. The main areas of the expanded reproduction of intellectual capital of the enterprises of the construction complex of Ukraine include: 1. Establishment of the separate departments at the enterprises (for example, for patents and rationalization), whose activities will focus on the development, use and commercialization of the intellectual property. 2. Continuous monitoring of the process for formation and use of intellectual property items of the construction enterprise (check of the status, diagnosis and provision of necessary human, informational, scientific, material resources). 3. Improvement of accounting for intangible assets of the construction enterprise and development of the mechanism, which is taking into account the intellectual property in the activity of the enterprise. 4.
