The second stage was devoted to the synthesis and surface modification of noble metal nanoparticles - gold and silver - with a definite shape. The obtained nanoparticles were modified with ultra-thin organic films, in particular, thiols and diarylethenes. A series of STM, SEM and AFM studies of surface morphology of obtained nanoparticles before and after modification was performed.
