Microscopic and sieve analysis was used to determine the fractional composition of coal. A series of experiments was performed on the basis of laboratory equipment, modes and parameters of electric discharge were established, ensuring fine disintegration of coal, its maximum activation and hydronegeneration. At the same time, water and coal were fed into the discharge chamber at a ratio of 60% to 40% of the total mass. When pulsed high-voltage discharges are acted upon, a one-stage grinding of coal to a finely dispersed state (up to 0.05 mm) occurs, destructive decomposition reactions and obtaining stable water-carbon suspension with significantly lower energy costs.
