A series of experiments was performed on the basis of laboratory equipment, modes of electric discharge processing were established, which ensure fine disintegration of peat, necessary for leaching of humic substances. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, the most suitable for the disintegration of peat in order to obtain fertilizers is the electric discharge regime with an energy in the pulse of 1.25 kJ and a pulse repetition rate of 2 Hz, at which peat milling at a fraction of 200 ?m and less was achieved, which amounted to more than 95% Of the total. To process samples of water-peat mixture with a content of solid and liquid phases by mass, respectively 25% to 75%, fewer pulses were required, i.e. this ratio is more cost-effective.
