This approach is based on the application of the configuration of a cylindrical electrostatic plasma lens for introducing into the volume of a dense plasma stream of fast electrons that are formed due to ion-electron emission from the electrodes of the plasma lens and radially converge on the axis of the system. The self-focusing of a low-energy dense multicomponent ion-plasma flow formed by an erosive source of plasma was first obtained and the possibility of focusing of such an ion-plasma flux by a polarization field that is formed in its volume was demonstrated.
