Based on the results of the analysis, a new model for the provision of psychiatric care to the population of Ukraine and its scientific justification was proposed; community mental health service; organizational and legal aspects of the system proposed in the framework of health care reform in Ukraine are considered; the model for the organization of a mental health service in hospital districts was proposed.
