The purpose of the work is development of method and determination of the quantity and chemical composition of the glass phase in the samples of ramming mix from stabilized zirconia with phosphate binder after heat treatment. Research methods are chemical, petrographic, XRD. As a result of carried out researches by determining the quantity and chemical composition of the glass phase in the samples of ramming mix from ZrО2 stabilized with phosphate binder, the MVI 322-70-2016 "Method of measurement of the mass fraction and the chemical composition of the glass phase in zirconia refractories with phosphate binder for scientific research" has been developed and certified. Researches of quantity and chemical composition of the glass phase in the samples of the mix ZrО2 stabilized by combined addition of CaO and MgO with phosphate binder, after heat treatment at the temperature range 800-2200 °C have been carried out and have been revealed, that at 1200 °C a melt is formed, which on the composition and quantity is practically constant up to inclusive temperature1750 °C. The melt, which is the quantity of 4.52-5.10%, consists essentially of Р2О5, CaO and MgO, that provide sufficient strength of samples and preventing softening during destabilization of the cubic ZrO2 at 1200-1400 °C. With increasing of heat treatment up to 2000-2200 °C the change a chemical composition of the melt have been take place due to the P2O5 evaporate and therein ZrO2 containing increase up to 0.80-0.83%. Upon samples cooling down 2000-2200 °C a partial crystallization of the melt has been take place with forming of localized areas equigranular microstructure that it is confirmed by a gradual decrease of glass phase quantity from 1.83 to 1.17 %. As a result of researches which carried out in 2015 year, a new type of product - ramming mix from zirconia stabilized by combined addition of CaO and MgO has been developed; the scientific and technical documentation has been formulated and approved, that governing the properties of this production and technology process of its manufacture; the application for the estimated invention has been given. In PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A. S. BEREZHNOY" pilot batches have been made: mixture of powders for ramming mix brand SМTsN-93 and mortar brand МTs-93-1 with indicators properties, that relevant to technical requirements of Ukraine; powders for plasma spraying brands PTsPК-63 and PBPК-63-1, with indicators properties, that relevant to technical requirements of Ukraine. Refractory products have been supplied to consumers in the domestic and foreign markets (exports to Russian Federation).
