The purpose of the work is to mastering of the manufacturing corundum-spinel plugs technology of a new standard size for bottom blowing of metal in steel-casting ladles. Due to the perceived need equipment to equip the 15-ton steel ladle ladles with purge plugs, a design has been developed and a tooling for molding a new type of truncated cone (265 mm high, with a diameter at the top 100 and 150 mm in the bottom), is produced by the vibrating method the refractory liner of the new standard size for bottom blowing plugs. When manufacturing an experimental batch of corundum-spinel purging plugs of a new standard size, the technology of their manufacture is mastered. On the pilot production of PJSC "URIR NAMED AFTER A. S. BEREZHNOY" pilot batches of bottom purge plugs brand PKSh have been made to TI 24-IO-207-2011 with rev. No 1 with indicators of properties that meet the requirements of TU U 23.2-00190503-349: 2012 with rev. No. 1, and have been delivered to metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine for use in steel-pouring ladles with the blowing of molten metal. Work should be continued in the direction of improving the technology of purge plug production and expanding the volume of their production and use.
