The purpose of the work is improving technologies of alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica and alumina-zirconia-silica refractories and issue of trial lots of products. The research methods are chemical, spectral, petrographical, standard methods for determination of mass's moisture and consistency, apparent density, water absorption, open porosity, cold crushing strength, change of linear dimensions at heating, permanent change of dimensions at heating and thermal shock resistance of refractories. Research of pigment chromium oxide additive influence on apparent density of the raw and on properties of the fired alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica refractory samples with a mass fraction of 15 % and 30 % Cr2O3 obtained by semidry pressing is carried out. The optimum amount of pigment chromic oxide, ensuring achievement of properties values indexes of the alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica samples with 30 % Cr2O3 that meet the requirements of technical specification TU U 23.2-00190503-373:2012 with change № 1 for brand KHTsS-30 is established. From mixes with the mass fraction of 15 % Cr2O3 the composition that contains optimum amount of pigment chromium oxide and from that it is possible to obtain alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica refractories which characterized from open porosity 22.4 %, apparent density 3.17 g/cm3, cold crushing strength 145 N/mm2, permanent change of dimensions at temperature 1650 °С, exposition 2 hours - 0 %, thermal shock resistance at 950 °C - water - 4 cycles. The influence of the new dispersant additive brand Castament FS-65 on spreadability of alumina-zirconia-silica, alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica and alumina-chromic oxide vibrocast masses. It is determined the amount of additive brand Castament FS 65, for achievement maximal spreadability of masses. Indexes of vibrocast alumina-zirconia-silica, alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica and alumina-chromic oxide samples properties manufactured with using optimal amount of dispersing additive of brand Castament FS 65 meet the requirements of technical specification TU U 23.2-00190503-373:2012 with change № 1 for brands KTsS, KHTsS-30 and TU U 23.2-00190503-418:2016 for brand KH-30. In accordance to the regulatory documents requirements in the pilot plant of PJSC "URIR NAMED AFTER A. S. BEREZHNOY" the trial lots of high refractory chromic oxide products brand HSU and high refractory alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica products brand KHTsS-30 are produced for enterprises of Ukraine and Russian Federation. The work should be continued in the direction of future improvement of alumina-zirconium-silicate and alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica refractories technologies and expansion of application branches of chromic oxide, alumina-chromic oxide, alumina-zirconium-silicate and alumina-chromic oxide-zirconia-silica refractories.
