The purpose of the work is a production technology reprocessing of the mullite corundum castable. The research methods are chemical, physical-mechanical, thermomechanical ones. The production technology of the mullite corundum castable brand of "МКBS" has been improved. The influence of type and amount of high alumina cement brand of "VGTS-73" and "VGTS-60", as well as amount of vibromilling brown fused corundum, on the properties of mullite corundum castable brand of "МКBS" has been researched. It was founded that, the expediency of amount decreasing of the high alumina cement brand of "VGTS-73" and amount increasing of the vibromilling brown fused corundum in the composition of mullite corundum castable brand of "МКBS". It promotes to strength increasing of samples from this castable after thermal treatment at a temperature of 1450 °С by 44 % (from 104 up to 150 MPa), refractoriness by 60 °С and thermal shock resistance by 30 % (from 7 up to 9 thermal cycles) at preservation of long working time. In accordance to the existing normative documentation in PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the pilot batches of corundum brand of "SКpl-94-1", mullite corundum brand of "МКBS" and chamotte brand of "СSHBD" castables and high alumina cement brand of "VGTS-73" have been produced. Besides, with using of the chamotte castable, the refractory products (including new types) have been produced.
