Objective - To improve the efficiency of transport technologies in the maintenance of production departments and transport cargo complexes of metallurgical enterprises on the basis of the application of logistics management of the interaction between production and transport. Results of the research: - An imitating model of the synthesis-flow process of material flow in the rolling shop has been developed for the shipment of finished products, ensuring efficient interaction of production and transport on the logistic principle "just in time"; - a model for managing the stability of the process of transport service of metal flows, predetermined by their dynamics; - conditions of operation and operating mode of hopper cars on transportation of agglomerate to blast furnace production are considered; - the question of using the existing diesel locomotive at enterprises of various industrial operations was assessed; - The process of transport service of cold-rolling shops has been studied; the main principles of improving technology and organization of the process of shipment of metal products have been determined; - an assessment of the efficiency of transport services for steelmaking plants of various metallurgical enterprises for the future; - Factors influencing the operational work are investigated, which together lead to a discrepancy between the rolling stock fleet and the capacity of the station's track vessels; - a flow technology of the process was proposed, using the heat accumulated by the cargo, and a new construction of garages and infrastructure, which ensure an increase in the efficiency of the transport complex; - analysis of the processing capacity of the factory sorting station is performed, in conditions of mismatching the rhythms of the external network operation and the production capacities of the enterprise.
