Purpose: to improve these methods on the basis of the development of new mathematical models and the widespread use of information technologies, increasing the didactic level of their teaching in the training courses. Research methods and equipment: theoretical analysis, mathematical modeling, packages of applied computer programs, modern computing technologies. Dynamic mathematical models have been developed and a number of electromechanical devices have been investigated, a scientific basis for their improvement has been created. The algorithm of calculating the strength of two-tait beams according to the simplified (graphic) method is developed. The dynamic loading of the beam in conditions of forced oscillations in the air space is studied, the direction of increasing the accuracy of calculations of dynamic forces and stresses is indicated. A mathematical model is developed, the process of loading of fastening parts of a group threaded joint in the mode of one-way tightening is investigated and optimized. Kinematics of a hinged quadrilateral mechanism is investigated with the use of computer algebra, proposals are developed to improve the teaching of the topic "Flat motion of solids" in the course of theoretical mechanics. Searches in the specified directions will be continued. Implementation of their results into the training courses of technical universities is planned during 2018-2019.
