With the help of cluster analysis, homogeneous zones in the fields of hydrometeorological characteristics in the near-surface layer of the atmosphere and at altitudes in the lower and middle troposphere in the North Atlantic were determined and described, and their statistical indices were obtained.With the help of component analysis, parametrization of the processes of interactions between the underlying surface and the atmosphere, as well as air states in the lower and middle troposphere at the nodes of the grid of points in the North Atlantic and Eastern Europe, was carried out. Clusters with the same types of situation vectors in the fields of the obtained atmospheric state parameters are determined, and their main characteristics are given. Using the nonlinear physical-statistical model, the degree of connection between certain homogeneous regions of the North Atlantic and Eastern Europe is established.
