Kachalova, Registration Date 31-10-2017 Organization LM.Litvinenko Institute of Physical Organic and Coal Chemistry popup.description2 The aim of the project is to develop a photochemical approach for the rapid generation of phthalimide-N-oxylenes of radicals when the by-products do not interfere with the study of the target product using spectral methods: absorption, luminescence, and electron paramagnetic resonance. The EPR of the characteristics of the chemical generated phthalimide-N-oxyl radicals is obtained: g-factors and hyperfine splitting constants (aN) on nitrogen and fluorine atoms. When using luminescent spectroscopy, the effects of interaction between the photosensitizer and N-hydroxyimide were studied, which lead to the transfer of photoexcitation with a light-activated sensitizer molecule to N-hydroxyimide with the probable formation of a catalytically active phthalimide-N-hydroxyl radical. The use of fluorescence spectroscopy improves understanding of the interaction effects between the photosensitizer and N-hydroxyimide. The use of photosensitizers will significantly improve the process of photoinduced generation of nitroxide radicals. Product Description popup.authors А.А. Ходько К.В.Новікова М.О.
