Purpose - to provide recommendations for the improvement of socio-economic policy based on complementarity and taking into account kontroversiynosti meet the challenges of social justice and improving economic efficiency. Methods - systematic analysis, economic modeling, correlation analysis, factor analysis and comparative, structural and functional analysis, a method of statistical groupings hierarchy analysis, expert evaluation and other methods. According to results of the study: The characteristic historical stages of the relationship between economic efficiency and social justice: the first stage of efficiency and justice are only different characteristics of the same reality, that they are really the same; in the second stage, they are separated from each other and enter into foreign conflict; the third (in the emerging information-network economy), they tend to re-mix on a new basis. Improved theoretical understanding of the meaning of justice as the degree of realization of the value determined expectations regarding their status, access to public resources, labor and other income and material conditions of life and proved that justice reflects the level of social order that has a minimum entropy. Based on analytical assessment depends on the elasticity of release on capital and labor income inequality using the tools of industrial and institutional features prove the existence of an optimal level of inequality in which the economic effect, resulting GDP reaches a maximum ceteris paribus. The approaches to determining the complementarity of economic efficiency and social justice at the national level on the basis of the integral criteria as the level of social security that characterizes the state of development of the country in which it is able to provide a decent and quality of life of the population, regardless of age, gender, income level, to promote development of human capital as the most important component of the country's economic potential. The directions of state regulatory policy in the field of social security reform in terms of the minimum wage as a basic social guarantees in terms of complementarity of economic efficiency remuneration system for state and social needs of the population and maintain social justice in the country. Results of the study can be used by central government authorities, especially the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on social policy, employment and pension schemes to improve socio-economic policy.
