The aim of the study is to determine the readiness of national legislation for the ratification / implementation in Ukraine of certain international instruments in the field of employment and vocational training and the development of appropriate proposals to amend the existing legislation in accordance with international standards in this area. The methodological basis of the study are the provisions of international instruments (ILO Convention and Recommendation of the Council Directive), national legislation, as well as scientific and analytical materials in the field of employment and vocational training. The study used general scientific and special methods, namely: analysis, synthesis, generalization, explanation, systematization, comparative legal analysis, evaluation, logical approach, and other methods of scientific knowledge. The practical value of the study lies in the fact that the investigation has revealed a willingness to ratification and implementation in Ukraine of certain international instruments in the field of employment and vocational training, which will contribute to the improvement and approximation of national legislation and its practical application to the European standards. Scope. The results of research can be used in the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure compliance with the provisions of the European Social Charter (revised) on 2015-2019 (approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from May 14, 2015 № 450-p.) And in the course of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in accordance with the plan of implementation of EU legislation acts.
