Structure and mechanical properties were investigated and determined for welded joints of high-strength steels depending on parameters of thermal deformation cycle of welding, structural deformations and kinetics of phase transformations were studied, determined was an effect of welding parameters on change of temperatures of phase transformations, stated was an effect of welding parameters on change of temperatures of phase transformations and peculiarities of structural transformations were determined in welded joints of high-strength structural steels. The results of examination were mathematically processed and equations of regression were received for prediction of temperatures of start of ferrite, bainite and martensite transformations. A mathematical model was proposed based on obtained results and a program was realized for prediction of structural composition of HAZ metal and its tendency to cold crack formation. Carried investigations allow production engineers effectively regulate the structure and physical-chemical properties of welded joints of high-strength steels. The results of carried work were used for optimizing modes of welding of armored equipment and obtained package of CCT diagrams of austenite decay can be used for expansion of range of products of high-strength steels of commercial designation.
