The purpose of research - theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions and methods of forming artistic tastes of basic and high school classes in art subjects and after school activities. Research methods - theoretical (analysis of scientific sources), experimental (surveys, questionnaires, study of teaching experience, school documentation, experiment), statistical data processing. Results - defined key concepts, developed criteria and method performance studies forming artistic tastes of students. Scientific novelty: for the first time identified and put into scientific use the term "artistic tastes" in the pedagogical aspect, reasonably concept and pedagogical conditions of individual artistic tastes growing up in today's socio-cultural context. Social effect - create scientific and methodological basis for education means of art of spiritually mature competent individual, is expected deepening motivation of students to culture-society; harmonization with the individual, aesthetic shift in the internal incentives and practical action; a significant increase in the level of training in universities, institutes of postgraduate education.
