The numerical model to study the dynamics of the ascending air stream with solid inclusions was developed. The model is based on the Euler-Lagrange approach to describe the dynamics of dispersed flows. On the basis of numerical model were defined the characteristics of ascending air flows with cylindrical solid inclusions that by form and density correspond fuel pellets from wheat straw. From the results of experimental studies were defined heat of combustion, moisture and ash content of pellets from wheat straw.
