Results obtained - specification was developed, and design of the works was performed. Theoretical research was conducted, and analysis of the modern state of energy efficiency of electrical equipment operation and global and national experience in ETC power systems' energy saving of the oil and gas industry was performed. Modern approaches to the development of mathematical models of reliability and energy efficiency of electrical equipment in ETC industry were studied; methods of experimental research of energy efficiency and reliability of power supply systems and electrical equipment were identified, and methodology for replacement of the main electric power equipment of drilling rigs machinery electric drive and main oil pipelines with the energy-saving equipment was developed. Information-measuring complex for research of energy efficiency characteristics of equipment in labview software was created; the survey of energy efficiency and power consumption of electrical equipment was carried out, experimental measurements of the main indicators of quality of electric power in power supply systems and electrical equipment of ETC, statistical analyzes of operational reliability and analysis of the influence factors on the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipment operation were carried out, and the methodology of existing power systems electrical efficiency evaluation was developed.
