The ceramic samples and CeAlO3 single crystals have demonstrated the luminescence with maximum intensity in the range of 450 - 475 nm and the decay time of 38 - 43 ns. 19 LuAG:Ce fibers and 2 LuAG:Pr fibers of high optical quality were obtained.
