The aim is to highlight the linguo-cultural and linguo-stylistic peculiarities of various kinds of the modern Greek-speaking discourse. The methods of the research are the descriptive, the comparative and the structural ones as well as the method of linguo-cultural analysis. The results obtained from comprehensive research can be used in compiling teaching-prescribed aids in such disciplines as Language-through-Culture Studies, Socio-Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Phraseology of Modern Greek, Lexicology of Modern Greek and Linguo-Stylistic Analysis of the Text. The results of the research can also be used in writing course theses or masters' theses, etc. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the following: for the first time in the national Hellenistic Studies comprehensive research of various kinds of the modern discourse in Modern Greek is fulfilled in the linguo-cultural and in the linguo-stylistic aspects. This research is a tangible contribution to formation of understanding of the Modern Greeks' lingual picture of the world. The introduction of the research is being carried out on the basis of new titles of bachelors' and masters' theses. The results of the research can be used in other higher education institutions and research institutes that teach or research Modern Greek.
