The methods of investigation: morphostructural, neotectonic, historical-genetic analysis; geoinformation mapping and modelling. The results of investigation: The general directions, approaches and principles of the specialized investigations during the fulfillment of reconnaissance-forecasting tasks in the regions with different neogeodynamic regimes and states, which are manifested in the boundaries of morphostructures of different types, have been determined. The experience of morphostructural-neotectonic investigations in the regions, where exogenous, endogenous, oil-field and natural gas deposits are concentrated in Ukraine and beyond of its borders, has been evaluated. Geomorphologic, morphostructural, paleogeomorphologic and paleomorphostructural causes and conditions of formation of principal genetic types of placers on Ukraine's territory have been determined and rational complexes of research methods in the regions of localization of revealed deposits and forecasting of new ones have been substantiated. Complexes of methods of morphostructural and neotectonic investigations in the regions of endogenous mineralization, evaluation of the scale of denudation and revealing reconnaissance signs of endogenous deposits have been proposed for practice. General approaches for fulfillment morphostructural and neotectonic investigations in the oil- and gas-bearing regions and specialized reconnaissance-forecasting investigations in oil- and gas-bearing provinces of Ukraine have been substantiated. Rational complexes of investigation methods, their potential application were proved by examples of analysis of local morphostructures of Dnieper-Donetsk depression, Volyn-Podolsk plate, Precarpathian foredeep have been characterized. Prospects of application of morphostructural and neotectonic analysis methods in the regions with different neogeodynamic conditions and circumstanced have been substantiated.
