The purpose of investigation: on the system basis to elaborate the conceptual basics to reveal natural and natural- anthropogenic dangers and to evaluate the risks of emergency situations rise, taking into account the principal causes and intensity of the dangerous processes, limiting conditions of the environment, the causes of destabilization, the peculiarities of the anthropogenic transformation of natural geosystems. The methods of investigation: geological-geomorphological, morphostructural-neotectonic, cartographic, morphometric, geochemical analyses, geoinformation cartographic modelling. The results of investigation: data of the dangerous natural and natural-anthropogenic processes manifestation on the Ukraine's territory, taking into account the limiting conditions of the environment, the peculiarities of its anthropogenic transformation and trends of natural-anthropogenic geosystem moulding have been generalized. The principles, scientific basics, general directions and methods of specialized geomorphological, morphostructural-neotectonic, geologic-geochemical and cartographic investigations for the purpose to determine the evaluation criteria of the state of human activity habitat have been substantiated. The characteristics of premises and causes of emergency situations rise, which are connected with destruction or destabilization of natural and natural-anthropogenic geosystems function have been cited. The principles of subdivision into districts of Ukraine's territory according to the risk of dangerous natural and natural-anthropogenic processes manifestation and emergency situations rise have been substantiated.
