Purpose - to provide branch and public with administrative data of publishing products release that characterize the phenomena and processes taking place in the publishing area, electronic reference and information resources on publishing and librarianship and promotion to efficient use by publishers of the regulations to improve the general level of publishing products culture. The method of research - monitoring, systematization, analysis. Results - reports (summary administrative data) on non-periodic, periodicals and prolonged publications in Ukraine in 2015; aggregate data on delivery of obligatory copies of publications in 2016; operational data on books and pamphlets issue, including editions in global and national minorities languages; forecast production of book editions in 2016; Database: Ukrainian and foreign printed and electronic media covering the situation in Ukraine in 2016, 2015-2016. "The list of errors in processing output data in book editions," "The list of errors in processing output data in periodicals (excluding newspapers) and prolonged journals and publications" in 2016, publishing stakeholders (publishers) with updated information for 2016; electronic information files of Ukrainian-language edition of "Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) 3rd edition, taking into account amendments to the UDC for 2011, "Comparing Table of the index UDC and BBC"; electronic resources "the Calendar of memorable dates "for the second , III, IV quarters 2016, I quarter 2017; electronic registers of publishers' identifiers in ISBN and ISMN systems for 2016; Instruction on the International standard book number in Ukraine and the procedure of international standard numbers of printed music editions in Ukraine; analytical reviews of the topic, the annual report on the SW implementation. Scientific novelty: developed and worked out administrative data on publishing products release by the publishing stakeholders in 2015-2016,: the role of media is analyzed in promoting positive image of Ukraine abroad, the operation condition of OP, ISBN / ISMN, the completeness of the information content of publications, created new electronic reference and information resources. The SW results may be used: the State Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, other state authorities to identify the directions of the state policy in publishing and information area, subjects of publishing and librarianship spheres, media organizations, scientific and educational institutions. Areas of application: unified administrative data, analytical and informational materials, electronic reference and information resources used in statistical, publishing, bookselling, librarian, information fields, in research work, the educational process in specialist training.
