The object of research: the dynamics of the rotor-bearing-seal-housing turbopump assembly of liquid rocket engine. Subject of research: numerical (computational) and analytical models of hydrodynamic processes in the seals, bearings and axial balancing devices, the definition of the causes of rotor dynamic instability in the contactless seals and bearings with taking into account of force and thermal deformations of the housing and shaft. The main tasks: development of methods for the analysis of the joint radial, angular and axial vibrations, the methods of the critical frequency calculation, the boundaries of motion stability, amplitude and phase frequency characteristics of a turbo pump rotors with taking into account of annular seals and automatic axial balancing devices. Computer modeling using computational fluid dynamics methods of annular seals-bearings sealing mechanism, obtaining approximating dependences between the main geometric parameters and hydrodynamic characteristics through using of numerical methods of design of experiment. Developing routines for automated calculation of rotor dynamics taking into account the stiffness and damping characteristics of the plain bearing (journal and thrust) and annular seals (labyrinth, scalop and annular with a deformable housing).
