Influence of rb gene on starch granule shape was confirmed. On this ground, accessions with round starch granules and wrinkled seeds (RRrbrb) and accessions with complex starch granules and wrinkled seeds (rrRbRb and rrrbrb) were selected. Results of analysis for fatty acid content in RRrbrb pea accessions: there were significant differences in their content, confirming effects of r and rb genes on fatty acid content in pea seeds. We derived vegetable pea breeding lines with seed yields of: SL 11-262 - 1.60 t / ha (131% related to the standard variety 'Adagumskiy' -1.22 t / ha), SL Kamelot / L 20-03 / 1 - 1.63 t / ha (134%), SL Kamelot / L 20-03 / 2 -1.96 t / ha (160%), SL 11-289 -1.69 t / ha (138%), SL 11-290-n -1.53 t / ha (125%), SL 11-342 - 1.60 t / ha (131%), SL 12-74 -1.69 t / ha (138%). Sugar content in seeds (technical maturity) ranged from 5.05% (SL 11-342) to 6.06% (SL 11-289). Nine RRrbrb lines - rbrb gene carriers with different economic characteristics (stem length of 40-51 cm, productive node number of 3.7-6.8, bean number of 5.3-9.5, seed weight of 1.88-4.01 g per plant, seed number of 22.6-37.8 per plant. This breeding material can later be used to create specialized pea varieties for food and technical industries.
