This is the ability to simulate an unlimited number of options and combinations without putting human under life and health hazard. Method: Based on complex multicompartmental models of thermoregulation and heat transfer, by developed Irena Yermakova a mathematical model of human thermal processes in the water environment was developed. Mathematical modeling was performed for parameters, characteristics and physiological processes of human body. Human body interaction with the aquatic environment and the human body parameters that significantly affect the thermal processes during stays in the water were described. Results: Based on a mathematical model computer model was developed. It allows to predict the dynamics of the human functional state during stay in the aquatic environment at different levels of immersion taking into account properties of water (temperature, salinity, velocity). Convective heat transfer coefficient of water for forced and free convection was calculated. It takes into account the human body anatomy, including adipose tissue thickness and water physical properties (salinity, density, viscosity, heat capacity and so on.). A mathematical model of cold thermogenesis, which takes into account individual characteristics (height, weight, fat percentage), was developed. Cold thermogenesis is a key thermal-regulating process that is responsible for maintaining the temperature of the human body. Based on the developed model information technology was developed to calculate the safe stay time of the man in water, the onset of hypothermia and get data of thermophysiological state. That allows the use of models in planning of search and rescue operations on water. Also, the model can be used to select warming techniques for man with hypothermia.
