Information × Registration Number 0217U004504, 0116U004784 , R & D reports Title Complex petrologic-meineralogic-geochemical model of North-Western Ukrainian Shield part development based on created Geological Depositarium of this region. popup.stage_title Head Shnyukov Sergiy Evgenovich, Доктор геологічних наук Registration Date 06-02-2017 Organization Taras Shevchenko Kiev University popup.description2 Geochemical model of the Korosten pluton ore-generating magmatic/hydrothermal system formation and functioning was developed which contains: (1) leading mechanism of magmatic series formation; (2) behavior of main and trace elements in process of magmatic evolution; (3) assessment of magmatic system formation and functioning physicochemical conditions; (4) methodology for calculation of model distribution coefficients derived directly from observed data on element composition in magmatic complexes petrotypes and most connected to real conditions of magmatic system evolution; (5) assessment of total elementwise resource of magmatic fluid (supply volume of elements in magmatic-hydrothermal system), which is based on geochemical modeling of parent magmatic system; (6) independent control of modeling results. Main results of research are based directly on observation with precise analytical methods (representative data from Geological Depositarium), distribution dependences for wide range of chemical elements in Korosten pluton leading petrotypes and their rockforming and most widespread ("ubiquitous") accessory minerals (zircon, apatite, monazite, etc.) -respective magmatic/magmatic-hydrothermal ore-generating system functioning products. Developed model has notable benefits over closest analogues. The obtained fundamental results and the approach with the modeling methodology may be widely applied as for the multiregional correlations inside Ukrainian shield so for the other objects in terms of international collaboration. The possibilities of proposed geochemical model further application and development are demonstrated at the example of other geological objects (Antarctic Peninsula and Bodie Hills volcanic field, Nevada).
