Purpose - investigation of wetting, spreading of brazing filler metals over base metal (29NK, VT-1, LS 59), determination of contact angles, examination of chemical inhomogeneity of joints, effect of composition of brazing filler metal on formation of brazed structure in homogeneous and dissimilar combinations, selection of perspective of alloying system. Method - metallographic (optical, electroscopic) analyses, micro X-ray spectrum analysis (chemical inhomogeneity and element composition of separate phases). Determined - experemental data of brazing filler metal spread over base metal, determination of wetting contact angles, studied structure of homogeneous and dissimilar brazed joints; showed that application of silver brazing filler metals and set brazing gaps provides for formation of tight sound brazed welds.
