In this work was shown the possobility of using of domestic ammonium nitrate for purpose of explosion welding in case of grinding. The influence of the degree of grinding and the percentage of diesel fuel for detonation characteristics was studied. Graph of velocity of detonation dependance from height of charge was built. The critical height of the charge was determined. New yemulsionnu explosive was manufactured for explosion welding , detonation ability of it is provided by the addition of microscopic hollow glass spheres. For new explosives the regimes of explosion welding were developed for most actual practical problems, such as composite manufacturing and repair of worn holes in the steel matrix, etc. Conducted research with have practical significance and allow one to apply explosion welding in current conditions regardless of the absence of explosives which contain TNT.
